Manchester United blow Leicester City out of the water behind strong second half

On Sunday afternoon in Manchester, at Old Trafford Erik Ten Hag's boys showed just why they have been flying all year. Manchester United dismantled Leicester City 3-0 at the Theatre Of Dreams, goals from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho would see United cruise to a 3-0 win at Old Trafford. Manchester United amounted all the pressure in the first 5 minutes of the match, creating chance after chance however after they had all the pressure on Leicester's goal, they would concede the control of the game to the foxes and credited to David De Gea, who made some worldly saves to keep the game level. It wasn't until the 25th minute that Manchester United would score their first goal of the encounter, thanks to a beautiful pass from Bruno Fernandes to Marcus Rashford who continues his beautiful form for the Red Devils. In the second half, it was clear that Manchester United had made adjustments and were prepared to win this game, they brought on Jadon Sancho and that changed the game. In the second half, Leicester had no chance Manchester United would continue to mount pressure and create chances. Manchester United's hard work and pressure would pay off in the 56th minute with another smashing goal from Marcus Rashford, who continues his unbelievable form in all competitions thanks to a beautiful assist from Fred. In the second half, The Red Devils were having fun and looking good while doing it, making Jadon Sancho and Aaron Wan-Bissaka do one-touch ole's like Prime Messi and Dani Alves, and Jadon Sancho's great game would be capped off with an amazing goal in the 66th minute from an assist from Bruno Fernandes who was great in the build-up but the goal came all from Sancho who started it all in the midfield. The second half of the 3-0 win for Manchester United was no contest, they were nowhere to be found. United blew the foxes out of the water in the second half, and Manchester United continue their red-hot form into what is most likely the biggest week of their season. Manchester United will face Barcelona at Old Trafford on Thursday night, and Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final which will be their chance to win their first trophy in 6 years. Manager Erik Ten Hag was not pleased with Manchester United's first half against Leicester, calling it "Rubbish", and when asked about what went wrong he would go on to say "we don't have that much time here". Leaving the pitch, Erik Ten Hag would encourage the United faithful to be here [At Old Trafford] on Thursday because it is a big game and they will beat Barcelona together he said. Manchester United will play Barcelona at Old Trafford and Newcastle in what could be a season-defining week for the Red Devils.
